Couples Therapy
Couples come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling with ongoing conflict, communication breakdowns, or a sense of distance in your relationship. Perhaps trust has been damaged, or you simply feel stuck and unsure how to move forward together. Whatever has brought you here, couples therapy can offer a safe and supportive space to explore your challenges and rebuild connection.
If you’ve never had counselling before, the thought of opening up about personal issues might feel daunting. Many couples worry it will be stressful or uncomfortable, but most find the experience to be empowering and constructive.
Relationship therapy provides a confidential space where you and your partner can reflect, be heard, and learn new ways of relating. The benefits often extend beyond your relationship, supporting both individual growth and emotional wellbeing.
Words of Wisdom

Frequently Asked Questions
Here is some information about how I work. If you have any other questions please do feel free to message me via the contact form at the bottom of the page.
How do couples therapy sessions work?
Once you get in touch, we’ll have an initial conversation to make sure we’re a good fit to work together. Couples therapy sessions can take place either online (via Zoom) or face-to-face at my London practice, depending on what works best for you. Each session lasts 60 minutes.
Early on, I usually meet with each of you individually for one session. This gives me a chance to hear your background, understand your perspective, and identify any patterns that might be influencing your relationship. After that, we continue with joint sessions together as a three, focusing on your goals as a couple and building tools to strengthen your connection.
How often should we have therapy?
I recommend weekly sessions to begin with when working with couples. Couples therapy requires a concentrated effort from both parties on a consistent basis to realise the full benefits - in other words, it takes regular and consistent work to see results. Some couples move to fortnightly sessions after a certain number of sessions, which can work well. And after a certain period of time, it may be appropriate to just have monthly check ins.
How many sessions should I have?
I work in an open-ended way, which means you can decide when you want to end your therapy journey. Some clients choose to just have six sessions, whereas others stay in therapy for years. It completely depends.
How much do sessions cost?
I charge £25 for introductory sessions, and then £90 per session afterwards.
