Individual Therapy
People seek out therapy for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you are struggling at the moment and you're not sure what else to do. Or perhaps it's been recommended to you. Either way, you're in the right place.
If you've never had therapy before then the idea of speaking to a stranger about the personal things can be overwhelming, but I promise you that once you've taken that first step the benefits can be huge. Therapy provides you with a safe space for self-reflection, healing, and personal growth. It does not need to be a stressful or harrowing experience.
I work in an integrative way, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor them to your unique needs, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. This flexibility allows us to find the tools and insights that work best for you. You can see some of my specialisms listed below.

Depression
Depression is more than just feeling sad; it's a mental health condition that can affect your thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being. Fortunately, therapy can provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences.
I will work alongside you to identify the root causes of your depression and develop effective coping strategies.
Stress & Burnout
In today's fast-paced world, stress and burnout have become increasingly common, leaving individuals feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained. Stress and burnout are more than just momentary challenges; they can disrupt your physical health, relationships, and overall happiness. I understand the intricate web of factors that contribute to these issues and I'm committed to helping you regain your equilibrium.
Feeling Lost
Feeling lost can be like wandering through an unfamiliar forest, unsure of where to turn or what direction to take in life. Through therapy, I can offer you a safe and non-judgmental space to navigate your emotions, clarify your values, and set meaningful goals. We'll use a holistic approach that draws from various therapeutic modalities to help you reconnect with your passions, rediscover your strengths, and chart a new course forward.
Specialist Areas
Anxiety
Anxiety comes in all shapes and sizes and can affect people differently. I can work with you to understand how your anxiety is showing up for you and how it's impacting your life. We'll look at what can be done to help manage the physical symptoms and work towards hopefully reducing the anxiety over time together.
Low Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem can mean we struggle with our confidence and don't feel good about ourselves. I can work with you to understand how this is impacting your life and what from your past and present has contributed to you feeling this way. We'll work together to achieve healthier self-esteem and increased confidence.
Relationship Challenges
Couples therapy focuses on supporting partners in navigating the complexities of their relationship. Relationships can be challenging and often impact our daily lives in profound ways. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where couples can openly address their concerns, understand each other better, and work together toward positive change and resolution.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here is some information about how I work. If you have any other questions please do feel free to message me via the contact form at the bottom of the page.
How do therapy sessions work?
Once you have reached out to me and we've had an initial conversation to ensure we are a good match to work together, therapy sessions will take place either online (via Zoom) or face-to-face at my London practice. Each session lasts for 50-minutes and is predominantly led by you as the client. As your therapist, I will hold a space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and discuss any challenges you might be facing. We'll look at what you want to gain from the therapeutic process and work together to help you get there. You can read a blog post about what to expect from your very first therapy session by clicking here.
How often should I have therapy?
The general rule of thumb for the frequency of therapy sessions is once per week, especially when you're just getting started. Therapy requires a concentrated effort on a consistent basis to realise the full benefits from the therapeutic relationship - in other words, it takes regular and consistent work to see results. Some clients move to fortnightly sessions after a certain number of sessions, which can work well.
How many sessions should I have?
I work in an open-ended way, which means you can decide when you want to end your therapy journey. Some clients choose to just have six sessions, whereas others stay in therapy for years. It completely depends on what you want out of the process.
How much do sessions cost?
I charge £25 for introductory sessions, but then after that if you choose to continue with therapy then my rates are as follows:
-
Online sessions via zoom (individuals): £60
-
In-person sessions (individuals): £75
-
